I have 2 yorkies. Sadie is 2 1/2 yrs old. She has the silky coat, probably about 2 1/2 inches from the floor, and it is thin. Lillie is 15 weeks old and she is "fluffy" and her coat is longer than Sadies was at this age. I have a picture of Sadie at 8 weeks and a picture of Lillie at 8 weeks and they look completely different..But, they are still Yorkies. Think of it this way......if you have 2 children from the same parents (unless they are identical twins) they are going to look completely different. There is no doubt in my mind that Sadie ISN'T a Yorkie...she just has a different coat than Lillie. I will tell you this....Sadie NEVER matts! this is a good thing! I wouldn't worry about her not being a Yorkie...I'm sure she's adorable!! Do you have a pic of her?
