I want to potty train Sophie to outside. The problem is that I am not sure where to keep her when I am gone so she won't get confused and think she has to pee on a pad or newspaper? She has an ex-pen, but if she is in that she will pee on the pad or should I just remove the pad? She also has a crate, but I am talking if I am gone for more than 8 hours. If I just want her to potty outside then where should I keep her when I am gone? Also she is paper/pad trained so how often do I move the pad or papers towards the door?
