They often will want to hide under a bed or somewhere when they are in some pain and she will be after surgery. You might put a crate down with the door open to be her 'den' and easier to get at her than having to get her out from under the bed when you want to check on her.
She sounds like she is feeling pretty sorry for herself which they do after anything invasive. Add water to her food and you can also use a 5 cc oral medicine syringe to give her extra water. She should just lick at it quite willingly, they love the extra attention and babying.
