Another thing to keep in mind is that these people are probably not experienced with Yorkies. I have bred Poodles and Cockers. These are hardier breeds and can go younger than Yorkies. When I first found out that Yorkies needed to stay with their mothers until they were 12 weeks old I was shocked. I haven't bred dogs in 20 years and things seemed to have changed a WHOLE lot! I know there are a lot of people out there who don't know that any puppy needs to stay longer with their mothers than 6 weeks, that there are things to be learned that 6 weeks is just to young to know. I will tell you this, too, if it weren't for the internet and sites like this, I would probably still be selling babies too young for their own good. People who sell Yorkies NEED to know that 3#'s or 3 months is a critical time for Yorkies, that this is the time their blood suger is at it's worst. I try to tell everyone who asks anything about breeding their females. Sylvia
