I have had many deposits before puppies are 6 weeks old...........its not if they are sold its when you release them that is important.
Bottom line.........in Illinois it is against the law to sell them before 8 weeks.
and a good breeder keeps them longer then that, if its for the good of the puppy.
I used to routinely release all my puppies at 8 weeks and they have done very well.
..............BUT after advise from a few well respected & very educated breeders I have went to 10 weeks being a better fit............Highly recommended is 12 weeks and really is what they have recommended....(Im getting closer!.....lol)
So Im always listening folks! Research has been done on age release and puppies tend to do better if released at an older age.
