I hate when I lose something like that. I lost a diamond and opal necklace one time and found it about 1 1/2 yrs. later.
My dtr has lost irreplaceable jewelry, but we manage to find them. I tell her to close her eyes and think about the last time she saw them. Then we do a little back tracking and voila! There they are. So, don't give up hope. I'll bet they will turn up where you least expect them. Good luck and I'll say a prayer to help you along.
