That person is a broker you were speaking to. And yes, they do charge more for getting that pup for you. I personally would not buy from the other person either since she is willing to let someone else sell her pups for her. I want to know who my pups go to and would never let someone sell my pups! I do not mind people recommending me, but they make no extra money and I wnat to meet the prospected owner if at all possible. Sounds like you were lucky this match did not work for your sake.
Some internet advertisments are not scammers and some all. It is like with anything now a days - do your homework and check references!
