The amount of time she spends sleeping depents on a lot of things. Number one, it may take some time for the effects of the anesthesia to wear off, plus her body needs the energy to heal. Second, if she's not covered in fleas any longer, she's probably enjoying the non-interrupted rest. Third, she's probably so dad-gummed glad to be out of that bad environment that she's languishing in the comfort of her new home. I'm so glad you were able to get her out of that situation - poor baby. You didn't mention how old she was. That might have something to do with the amount of sleep she needs too. She'll be up and driving you nuts all too soon, I'm sure.
