Okay guys, this may sound like a crazy question!!! I have had yorkies for about two years now, one female and one male. Today, my Maddie delivered her first litter of puppies. Every one is doing great. i think she is gonna be a great mother. My questions are how do i know they are getting enough to eat. I see her nursing them, but I am so concerned since this is her first that she will not let them nurse as much as they need to? Another question is the tails. Their tails look long to me. I guess my question is do i get the tails clipped or am i crazy.. they just look longer to me than they should, and it may be that they are just puppies, i know that sounds crazy, but this is my firt time breeding also.
