i have a chi named Sweet Pea. She is the Queen of my house! She is not a picky eater, she only barks when someone is on my front porch, and she loves all other animals cats included. She sleeps with my dtrs. at night and licks them from head to toe. She rules this house!!! She has potty trained both my other dogs and my yorkie barks at everything and everybody. I bought Sweet Pea when she was nine months old. she was living with an elderly lady from puppyhood who was dying from a terminal illness and couldn't take care of her anymore. she wanted her baby to be with a family that would love her as much as she did. my hubby had just been deployed to iraq and i wanted a little dog to snuggle with me at night and keep me from being depressed while he was gone. she loves to snuggle under the covers and could sleep the day away if you let her. she is very loyal to our family and would not let anything or anybody hurt us if she could prevent it. everybody loves her to pieces. i could go on and on about my chi....
