Coco-Ming was spayed on tuesday of this week, and i was a nervous wreck. I picked her up the same day ( about 4:30pm). Once we got home, she slept in my bed for four to five hour intervals. I was not given any pain meds, from my vet, and coco-ming did not appear to need them. She did not cry or make any strange sounds. When she was awake, she was lethargic, and could barely keep her eyes open. That day I gave her Nurti-cal. The day after, in the late afternoon, she was more alert, and able to eat a regular diet, and do her business as usual. The second day after the surgery she was back to her old self. i took off three days from work so I could be with her. She is doing great now. I can't wait to get the staples out of her stomach (ouch!!!).
