I know exactly what you are going through. Buddy was very bad as a pup chewing on me, my toes, fingers etc. I constantly corrected him by holding
his mouth closed, very light grip and telling him no! Then he would come back at me when I put him down. He had spunk for sure. He will still mouth me when we play. I still correct him and he is 2 1/2 although he doesn't hurt anymore. You should never allow a dog to put his teeth/mouth on you. Ever!
I never had this with other breeds but with Buddy it was a real problem.
Most of it is probably teething but still correct him.
