A titer is a test that measure the presence and amount of antibodies in blood. These antibodies may be against a particular type of tissue, cell, bacteria, virus, or other external substance.
They take blood and check the level of the antibodies from the vaccination. If the antibodies are very low or not there then you give the vaccination again, you dont have to give the shot again if the antibody levels are ok
