Don't worry he will be just fine. You have to wait a few hours after surgery before you feed him. He will probably sleep for like 5 hours then wake up and be starving. You can give him some broiled chicken breast with white rice, for his tummy. The anesthesia will be affecting his tummy, so don't be surprised if he has bad diarrhea and funky smelling too. That's the medicine leaving his body. So giving him something bland like chicken and rice is good for his tummy. Getting him a onesie would be good to keep him from licking his stitches in the upcoming days. Make sure he's getting loads of fluids too. He will be back to his normal energetic self by tomorrow. Don't worry he will be just fine. Just give him loads of kisses and let him sleep on your lap, and he will be in heaven
