 How to care for my yorkie after his surgury?
My yorkie Brinkly is being neutered right now @ the vet's office. What have been your experiences with the recovery after neutering? Do they sleep a lot or are they in pain? Do they want to eat after the surgury? Brinkly is my first yorkie and my first dog besides the family dog I grew up with so I'm new to this, any other advice that you have or recommendations would be appreciated so much. It was so hard handing him over this morning, but probably what was hardest was making sure he didn't eat before the surgury. He LOVES to eat, I think more than most dogs, so that was pure torture for him. Thanks for the help. I also want to thank everyone for all the advice on choosing a good vet, especially the info. about the anesthia. I found a vet that uses the isoflourine, so hopefully everything will go well.
