It is really comfortable for him and for me. I wasn't sure how a soft bag would be but it kind of cradles him like he's being held. It doesn't have a zipper, just a drawstring and no ventilation. It's really just made for them to hang out of like he is in the picture so you still need another bag for when you go places that dogs aren't allowed (not that any of us would ever do that!
