I dont know what to say. Unfortunately there are bad breeders out there that can give other breeders a bad reputation. I know exactly how you feel. I ran into a situation very similar in southern Indiana where this lady had 80 + adult dogs, plus their puppies. All of the adult dogs lived outside all the time. They had doghouses but that was all for shelter. No heat, no airconditioning, no real shelter to keep them clean and dry and safe. I called the animal cruelty people on her and the humane society.Their house was a "pit" and the dogs were all filthy with stuff matted onto their hair. I wanted to rescue them all, but knew that wasnt the answer to putting this lady out of business and saving these dogs. Dont give up, keep calling and emailing. Write a letter to the editor of thier paper. Call the police to investigate it. Those poor poor babies. I know how caring you are and I am sure you didnt sleep a wink worried about these babies. Let me know what happens. I hope that Pennys puppy will be ok. Dont let your dogs or any other dog around it for at least 2 weeks just to be safe. You dont want them catching something from this one IF it has anything.
