I'm sorry you're going through all of this! I HATE HOA's. You have to pay them every month and then they end up charging you for really dumb stuff. I thought the whole point of owning your own house is so that you can make the rules! My friend was under an HOA and they had just moved, so she put all of the boxes in the garage until she could get to them. Well, the garage door somehow automatically opened and her neighbor called the HOA on her because they are not allowed to use their garage to store stuff! That's the dumbest rule I've ever heard! It's her garage, she should be able to do what she wants with it. I will NEVER move into a place with an HOA. If YOU"RE the one paying for an HOA then you AND the neighbors should HAVe the right to VOTE on the rules! |
