Does your yorkie sleep by himself or with you? He could just be scared since he's so young. Mine sleeps in his crate in the x pen. I put a stuffed animal in Cash's crate and it helps keep him company when he sleeps at night. He usually cuddles with it and hugs it when he sleeps. may be you can try that. I also read from some of the posts here that they sell these stuffed animal beds shaped like mommy dog with heartbeats and something you put in it to make it warm. that would help to make him feel secure.
