 Emma's getting spayed tomorrow!
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new here too. Emma is getting spayed tomorrow, and I'm a little nervous. I know it's the best thing to do for her since I'm not going to breed her and she's the right age and the right size (6 months and JUST 5 pounds)..but still! I love my little Emma-Lou so much, and I feel bad for putting her through surgery. Plus, she's getting the baby teeth that didn't fall out pulled out too!I know some of you have spayed your little girl babies-anything that will help me not feel so anxious about this?
We've cleared the weekend, and we're going to watch movies and just hang out-my husband's going out of town so it will just be us girls. I bought her some soft food to eat until her teeth heal, and she likes wearing her onesies, so I think she'll be fine not chewing on her stitches with those on too. (We've been trying the onesies as PJ's, and she LOVES them!) I have baby aspirin ready to go...Is there anything else any of you have found helpful after coming home from a spay? |
