I just got my 2nd two and a half week ago. Had been thinking about getting a 2nd one, but hadn't really decided and then Carley kinda fell into my lap. I wanted another for Cooper to play with. He wanted to play all the time and sometimes I just couldn't. Also, I only work 10 hours a week, but hate to leave him by himself, that was another reason. I just kind of thought it would be good for him to have another dog...and I was right...it was. The first couple of days were a little rocky, but after that they have gotten along really well, and I really think it was a great thing for him. He loves to play with her and another good side effect is that he is eating better. He was so picky...I went from food to food with him...but she is a good eater and he has started to be one too, just because she eats so well. That is a huge bonus for me. I won't kid you, it is more work, but it is so worth it and every day that goes by, she fits right in with us and I think in just another couple weeks it won't seem like extra work, just like it always was.
