My yorkie, Hobbs, does this whenever we go on a car ride. I think this is caused from stress. But, he starts shaking and panting. My sister's yorkie also shakes and pants everytime it storms outside. She does it so bad that my sis has to give her Doggie Prozac to calm her down.
I bet there is something going on that your yorkie gets stressed out from or is scared of that is causing these episodes. I would try to figure out what the trigger is and see if it can be stopped. If the trigger can't be stopped, you could consider getting her some Doggie Prozac and give it to her whenver she starts having an episode. |
