I'm doing the bell thing now. Just started it this week. I first hung it on the back door knob, but Maggie thought it was a new toy. I have relocated it now to a higher position. I RING it for now, and ask her if she needs to PP. When she gets to a point where she knows what the bell sound is for, I will lower it. They say you can take their paw and hit the bell each time, while you are asking them if they need to PP or Potty. I was told not to use the word OUTSIDE, because they would ring the bell all the time, even to go and meet the neighbors. |
