Hi although I dont own a pet yet
(trying my hardest to find a reputable breeder in va area) I dont think that your baby will forget you in any way. Is he around you 24/7? 7 days isn't long, but I can only imagine if when I get my baby how it would feel to leave him/her for 7 whole days and nights....sorry I can't be much of any help.
