Maggie is a very sweet grl. She is spayed and up to date on shots. Easy to bathe, brush and even blow dry. Is great with kids even little ones. Good with other dogs although seems to be a little dominant. Takes time to warm up to you but when she does is a love. would probably be good at obedience and agility with training. Love to jump in your lap for a pet but not the type to sit in your lap forever. She is crate trained and about 90% housebroken, if you stick to a schedule she does great, only the occassional accident. She likes to go for walks, does ok in the car, and will spend hours playing with her toys
you are probably wondering after reading all of this why we are getting rid of her. Our house is just to busy for her, with 5 kids and all that goes on here she is stressed out alot. After we all discussed it we decided she needs to be somewhere where she will be kept on her schedule and with a few less children. I got her two months ago and the first week or so she wouldn't come near us and we have found if she thinks you are even a little upset with her she cowers, and if she does have an accident if she is in the room when you find it she will belly crawl . She eats in her crate and will gladly go in it when you tell her. I wouldn't leave her out free though as she is a garbage picker, and tries to pull down the gates. She is originally a pet store dog but was never registered, she does have a microchip but that was never registered either. |
