Hi I am new to this site and I live in the UK (sorry to say!!!) I am also a nurse, re your question about giving a dog human asprin? I would say yes it is okay to give a dog asprin, but you need to get the dosage right, eg, I had an elderly cocker spanial and I gave him half a 20mg tab every day for 18 months and it helped his bad legs, but he was a big old boy so ask the vet before you administer any drugs.
