I would not be panicked...12 days is a long time..and because of that it is unlikely any eggs were still viable. I have had stud services where the owner insisted I rebreed 10/14 days later when the bitch was still standing and flagging..nothing I said convinced them it was not necessary...and nothing resulted from these late breedings..all the litters arrived from the earlier proper breedings. Some bitches can remain swollen for longer then others and they will still stand for the male even though they are not actually in full heat. |
