you guys have seen me mention my friend here in town that breeds yorkies. the one I started to buy from then changed my mind because i didn't like the looks of her pups. Well, she bred her bitch the same day I bred kandy, September 15th. She just called in a panic and I can't help her because i don't know. She had her dog crated until yesterday. She thought she was out of heat because her male hadn't even sniffed so she had left her out. She walked to the mailbox and came back in and they were tied. This is twelve days since the first breeding. She called and asked me what to do because she knows I come here and have been researching for a long time. I don't know what to tell her to do or what will happen because I've never seen this on here before. She is on her way over here now to see what you guys have to say. She wants to go to the vet now and have him give her medicine so she won't have pups at all. I am scared for her little female also. What on earth will happen to her? My husband said she would have dead puppies because of the time span. i think so too but don't know how to console her. have any of you breeders ever had this happen. i keep telling her she needs to be on top of things and she thought she was. Now this? Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!! She is getting me upset too. I know she is not overreacting tho. This is serious. the only thing I could think of to tell her was that she probably will need to get xrays a week before the due date and probably will need a section or lose her bitch. This lady has been breeding for years and never had anything like this happen. she should know way more than I do. Can you help me know what to say when she gets here.
