Jerry is 2 years old...and we groom him @ home ourselves. He had a bad grooming experience once, so we've been doing it from home ever since. We groom him about once or twice a month, just trimming a little each time. He holds pretty still for it believe it or not.
The downside to it is the ears...not so easy to do, but he has gotten much better about it. This has worked out well for Jerry though.
