OMG you aren't KIDDING it was the scariest thing I've gone thru with any of them - 3 years ago ...I didn't know what it was.
of course it started right befor the weekend with the runs... then..clear stuff..then blood ....and then she turned so lethargic so we went to the ER at 2 am - HER BREEDER SAID IT WAS NORMAL for her to be like that !
We trusted her & that was my first mistake. For 3 or 4 days waited it out thinking she would get better. I KNOW if we didn't rush her in to the hospital she would have died ...
The breeder totally denied knowing even what coccidia WAS... but the ER doctors assured us that she came to us like that - it just took a few days to show symptoms - and she was a sick little girl. I never left her side even for a minute during that time...I was so scared for her.
