Sorry if I came off harsh. Like you, I am just a firm believer in spaying and neutering your pet. I also don't agree with "just that one time." There are WAAAAY too many dogs and puppies in shelters who are there because someone did not neuter their dog, it got out to "roam," and impregnated an unspayed female that was in heat. The owner doesn't want and never wanted the puppies, so the owner drops the puppies off at the humane shelter. So sad.
