Well shoot, I'm not going to be much help but I'll give it a shot. How old is Emma? Some dogs don't get their full coat until they're 2. I have two thick coat yorkies and one thin coat. I keep the 2 boys' thick coats cut in puppy cuts and it's cute and fluffy. I had Gracie's thin coat cut in a puppy cut and truthfully I didn't like it. It seems like it's very hard to make a thin, silky coat look fluffy. I keep Gracie's fur long and I like it much better. Good luck!
