Max and Abbie are both 'teapot' yorkies
....Max is 10 lbs and Abbie is 14 lbs...so they are able to eat the pellets as they are.
I'm really pleased with this food so if Max and Abbie were smaller I would smash the pellest so they would be able to eat them--I wouldn't switch to a different food just because of the size of the pellets
