If someone could point me in the right direction to get her from stop running from us all the time I would appreciate it. Oh yeah, she runs from us when we try to pick her up, except when she is really tired

"Come" is a pretty easy command to teach. Here's an article about teaching it:
http://www.dragonflyllama.com/%20DOG...s/TL1Come.html
The problem with "come" is that we poison it so often. How often do we use "come" to end a pup's fun? That's punishing to the pup. "Come" because I'm going to take that forbidden object away from you, "come" because I want to take you inside, "come" because I want to put you to bed, etc, etc, etc. Is it any wonder that pups refuse to come to us?
The trick is to keep a REALLY high rate of reinforcement for coming. Call the pup to you a bazillion times a day just to get a treat and then let her go back to what was fun. I've read that in order to have a reliable recall, the ratio of "come" for a treat to "come" because the party's over should be about 90% of the time. That's alot of "come, get a treat"!!!
If she's already decided that coming isn't reinforcing enough, you may have to up the value of the treat you are offering. Maybe a tiny bite of cheese or leftover meat.
Since she doesn't like being picked up, I would give her a treat every time I picked her up for a while.
