I used to use the bells attached to the door but My Tiffany quickly picked up that she goes outside and comes back in she gets a cookie. So, she was ringing the bell to go outside, I would let her out. She would walk to the end of the deck, sit there for a few minutes and then turn around and come back inside. Then she would demand her cookie, she followed me around the house barking her head off for her cookie.
