I am a frequent flyer member with NWA so I have their credit card. I get 1 mile for every dollar and I used on anything and everything that accepts this VISA. It does have an annual fee though . But I have flown to Europe, Asia and within the states for free many times using free miles . . . so it works for me. And yes, you have to pay your statement in FULL otherwise it defeats the purpose of getting rewards as they'll kill you with finance charges
