I am going thorugh the exact same thing right now and it is not fun. It worries me. I took my girl to the vet cause I thought she might have a URI since she had them in the past . They did blood work and X-ray and everything came back fine. They put her on the vet alternative to Benadryl and after administering it for seven days we really haven't improved. They told me it might be allergies but oviously the meds aren't working so it has to be something else. I am really worried because she is still cheery but she is doing it way to often. Specially the reverse sneezing. First she starts to like sneeze like discomfort and then comes the scary reverse sneezing that sounds like sh eis dying. I am do back this Friday for other test i really hope they find something and they also are going to try other meds. Just this past week I have spent $400 in vets bill in addition to the $6000 already spent throughout the time I have had her. Anything for her wellbeing but it sure has been a lot of money. When she has recovered i have said I will get insurance and then postpone it but after this i really am going to cause its too much money. Plus I always freak out and take her to the vet anytime I feel something is wrong as I don't like to take any chances.
