I think puppies are all different, just like people. I've seen dogs that come from the same litter be the total opposite of each other. Some pups are more like their father, some more like their mother, some are like neither parent. It's the same with people. I'm the oldest of 7, and although my siblings were all raised by the same parents and had the same upbringing, we're all very different.

I do believe that environment has alot to do with it, but it's more than that. I think a dog's behavior depends alot on what kind of training you give him/her and how consistent you are with it.
