Well, awhile back, Hobbs had really dry, flaky, itchy skin and a very dry coat. So, I switched his food to a food that doesn't have corn or wheat and I also started him on Missing Link. That helped dramatically! His coat is so soft and shiny and his skin on his tummy is no longer dry and cracked. However, Hobbs is STILL having dandruff. I notice this every single time I brush him... he has SOOOO many flakes. What could possibly be causing this? He is on a fantastic diet (Chicken Soup Puppy and Canidae All Life Stages, both kibble) AND taking Missing Link. Could there possibly be something serious wrong? Or do I just need to change shampoos or something? I've been bathing him with Seargent's flea & tick shampoo because the fleas have been so bad this season. But it is the Oatmeal flea and tick shampoo. Any ideas?
