PLEASE PLEASE do not do business with this lady. I trusted her and neglected to look at my AKC paperwork before I left this ladies house. The dog I purchased came from Missouri (most likely puppy mill) and not from one of her dogs as she tried to convince me. I love my girl and will keep her but I spent quite a bit of money and was lied to. She brought out one of her dogs and tried to tell me that was the mother. I just read my paperwork AKC today and saw that the litter owner and breeder is some lady in MO. When I picked my dog up also she was sick with Giardia and Coccidia. I am not sure now what the prognosis is for the health of my pup, but i have learned a valuable lesson. Always ask to see both parents and their AKC paperwork. People can still take you for a ride, but is always good to check thoroughly. I would NOT have purchased my pup if I had known. She is a sweet girl but more than likely a puppy mill pup.
