Hi there! I have never had to do this but I have read other posts of members that have. You put pennies in a can..like and altoids can and, when the puppy whines you shake the can. The noise makes them stop or, it's supposed to. I have also been told to clap your hands very loud and this will distract the pup also. I tried this and all it did was give me sore hands! lol
Maybe if you take a rolled up paper and smack the crate this will help with the night whining
