 Does not want to be held!!
Bitsy is now 14 weeks old and have had her since 10 weeks. Was such a loving puppy until about a week ago and now does not want to be held. She will lay in the floor at my feet or just about a foot away from me on the sofa but will not stay on my lap or be held in my arms at all. Phase she is going through? Too much to see and explore??? Loves to rough house with our other dogs (Min-Pins) and can go in and out of the doggie door at will. Does not like to go out when it is dark and goes potty on the puppy pad about 5:00 a.m. She sleeps in the kennel at night and has since I brought her home. The rest of the time she goes out the doggy door by herself . Very impressed!!! Should I cut down on her play time with the other dogs or will she outgrow this puppy energy phase? The Min-Pins are very attached to my husband and tolerate me and that is why I wanted the new puppy so she would be more of a lap dog. Any input??? Thank you!!! |
