Lacy had brown specks on her tummy at various times. They would spread too. They were dark brown flat spots and had almost a sticky consistency and seem to come from her pores. They did not itch, look inflamed or seem to cause her any concern. They did not wash off with a bath. Sometimes I could pick them off and the vet looked at it under a microscope. They never itched or bothered her and seemed worse in the summer months or after a heat cycle (hormonal related). We saw the vet many times during her life. We tried hydrocortisone, antifungal creams, and others I can't remember. Nothing ever worked. |
