I hate to tell you this but....V is right! I had a "dirty cat" we had to rip up the carpet, the sub floor and the molding's (from the corner that she was using as a litter box) I tried EVERYTHING to get the odor out and I think it only made it worse. I even put the litter box in the corner where she was going and she STILL used the rug. Sadly the cat was hit by a car. My husband (at the time) and I ripped everything up and put down a slate floor (this was in a mud room) We ended up getting another cat (kitten)..Would you even believe this!!! When we brought the kitten into the house she ended up going a sniffing the same spot that the other cat had gone in...She didn't end up using it as a litter box but it just goes to show how strong that smell is and how hard it is to get out. And everything had been ripped up and thrown away!!
If you find something that works good let me know. I have a cat that visits and likes to use my gardens as a litter box... PU!
