Also, I have a sister with some "issues" and she has a little girl who is 8 that I have babysat since she was born. Well, a few months ago my Dad passed away ........it was very difficult for all of us as we had lost our Mom not too many years ago. Well, after my dad died my sister tried to kill herself.....she slit her wrists while her hubby and my neice were out. When they came home my neice found her mommy on the bathroom floor! Needless to say it was horrifying. I took my neice for a few months off and on to help out and try and give her some sense on normalness, and peace. She IS back with my sister now who is doing very well so there is HOPE hun. Just keep the faith. I would not force your neice to go visit her though, and if your sister has her head on strait she will understand this. She HAS to think of her childs feelings FIRST. Maybe you could take some really cute pics of her and tell her that they are for her mommy and maybe do one of those handprints with paint or something to make the little girl and your sister feel that there is at least some kind of connection there, and just keep talking light talk with her about her mom....she'll eventually come around. And by the way your fur baby is super CUTE!!!! reminds me of my Louie. Good luck sweetie ...I hope your Dad get better real quick and if you ever need to talk you can PM me whenever .

Tami
