I know there are those breakaway collars, if they get snagged on something the dog can break it apart... On the other side, because it's easy to be broken apart, it's not as reliable as the regular ones, I think.. I'd only put collar with ID tags (that I don't have yet...) when outside on a walk etc.. planning to get one next weekend when Pepper can finally be outside after the last of his shot (yoohoo Can't wait, hope the weather'll be nice and we can go to the park for the day
