Mojo has a collar, but we only put it one when we go somewhere - it is more for looks and safety (it has his tags, etc on it) - but we don't leave it on and only put it on when we get ready to leave.

We use a harness, but that is only when we take him somewhere or out to walk and play. They just seem that they would be uncomfortable to leave on all day...trying to lay and get comfy, etc....plus, we are home all day, so he goes without anything on.

Sad story about the other Yorkie! I never leave Mojo outside (enclosed or not) by himself......I couldn't......I would be a nervous wreck! I freak out when I have to leave him at home to get groceries!!
