Be careful - a few years ago a little mixed breed of mine chewed on a corn cob and loved it -- but later during the night she was in a lot of pain, and I ended up carrying her around all night like a baby with colic. And I swear I could feel pieces of corn cob in her stomach that were having a problem going through.
The end result was that she really didn't digest them much at all - hugh pieces were in her stool the next day or two - and she suffered a lot. So corn cobs are off my list of things for my dog to eat.
***** My dogs have iron stomach and can eat almost everything. I have never had to be very careful with them at all --- I think the corn cob is one of the few things I have ever had a problem with.
