So sorry about your loss. We lost our cocker in December and got another one right away...we were contantly comparing him to our first one and we didnt do our research, just wanted to ease our pain. Needless to say he is with a retired couple now as he just didnt fit our lifestyle. I decided to try a different breed and we adopted Darla in May and Reece 4 weeks ago. Maybe try a yorkie of the opposite sex this time? You will know in your heart when the time is right.
