HELLO EVERYONE,
i am still searching for a yorkie, possibly 2 , if they are not that much money. i started my search yesterday going to a breeders house , near selden, long island. since she was my first visit in this search, i am a bit confused. the father looked to be a bit large, larger than what she said, around 6 pounds. he was full of very long hair, so maybe he looked larger. i used to have a 6 lb maltese and she never looked that large. the mother was smaller than he was, also with long hair. they both had very tan hair, not much dark hair on them.
the breeder had shaved the babies ears and they all (3) of them had curled back ears. she said she does this so they stand straight. ?
she said the mother had 5 puppies and 2 were sold already. they are 10 weeks old and weigh 2 lbs.
so if anyone out there has any info on where i can go to a breeder in my area, i would reallly appreciate it
